Blood&Honour banned in Russia

Supreme Court of Russia declared extremist - the international neo-Nazi organization “Blood and Honour” and banned its activity in Russia, reported official representative of Attorney General's Office Marina Gridneva.

As it was determined, the ideology of the organization is racial hatred, nationalism, religious and social intolerance, anti-Semitism, hostility to Caucasian, Asian and African nations, and intention for violence, murder and destruction of property of these people.

According to Gridneva, leaders and members of the organization pursue an aim to change constitutional system of Russian Federation.

Some active members of this organization have been already prosecuted for committing serious and high extremist crimes and terrorism.

The act that recognized the organization as extremist enlarges opportunities of police to prosecute not only active members of the organization but also its abettors, ideologists, who favour the activity of the organization.

European Skinhead party in Germany

Hello everyone! I really wonder how to start this report after 4 days of almost no sleeping, too many things happened in too less time, but I’ll do my very best to write down all the important details around this event.

So I guess it’s all started when I saw the gig flayer in Internet, with Endstufe, Legitima Ofesa and Les Vilains on it and I said to myself – “this will be a great gig”. Few weeks later two more bands (Faustrecht and Brassic) were added, so I made my decision to go. I was also very lucky to have a local hosts recommended by an Australian comrade, so everything seems to be as a perfect holiday for me (like it was). Unfortunately there was another big gig on the very same day in Hungary, but I have already made my choice where to go.

My journey started on the very early morning of Friday with a two hours flight from Sofia to Dortmund, after which I took a train to central Germany’s city of B. where my hosts was waiting for me. We walked around the city for about an hour sightseeing old buildings, castles and enormous churches which are very typical for Germany – a country full of history and spirit. After having a tasty dinner we headed to Nienhagen, located about 80 km. away from us, to meet with comrades and to fix the details about the gig organization on the next day. The gig venue appeared to be a tall building with a large yard area around. The concert was announced as an “open air” event and all the 1200 tickets were sold out. I had some beers and laughs with comrades trying not to get too drunk (without success J ) to be in god condition for the next day.

On the next day after just a few hours of sleeping we went back to Nienhagen around 12 a.m., where the preparation for the concert has already begun. A stage with professional audio equipment was erected, tons of beer, food and merchandise was put in their places waiting for the massive attack of gig attenders.  The gate was open at 17.00, and the gig started about an hour later. I was glad to help the org’s dealing with the visitors from abroad, which should have their already prepaid tickets from me.

The first band for the night was Brassic a patriotic Oi! band from Orange County/USA. The band is active since 2008 and they already made their debut album in 2010 called “Voice of Freedom”. They played mostly their own stuff, from which I really liked “Fight to win” plus two covers of Skrewdriver – “Boots and Braces” and “I don’t like you”. They got a nice acceptation from the crowd, despite the fact they confessed they are just a bunch of ugly Americans, who are too fat to play Oi! (hahaha).

Right after them was time for Belgium finest Les Vilains. According not only by my opinion they are one of the best Oi! bands for the last decade. They played a set with only own songs mainly from the last two length albums such as  “Nous Serons Toujours La”, “Jet set skinhead”, Mongoi - Oi”, “Dieter & Oliver”. Their set was short because of the usual freedom of speech suspensions by the German “democratic” authorities. Unfortunately this was one of the last gigs of the band, because they decided to call out a day by the end of this year due to various reasons. I was really glad that I had the chance to see them live finally.

Third on stage appeared Fautrecht, a band who needs no special introduction. Band is active for more then 15 years, always being true to they roots in music and to the idea of Social Revolution in Europe of Nations as a message. Their set was consists by their very best songs from the last decade like: “Die Macht Des Kapitals”, “Der Aufstand / Revuelta / Rivolta”, “Forver Young” and “Where have all the Bootboys has gone”. For my regret they didn’t played most of their songs in English, but I guess it was because the vast majority of the gig visitors were German or from German speaking nations.

Fourth on the schedule were the Italians from Legittima Offesa, from which set I could hear only the few last songs because I spend some time talking to friends from Austria and Germany which I was in touch on i-net. From what I saw they have a lot of fans on German basis which love to see them live. Last songs of their performance were cover of “You’ll never walk alone” and “Running Riot” by Cock Sparrer. The guys from the band were furious on stage plating with heart and soul, showing themselves as real professional musicians.

So after all these great bands around midnight were finally time for the last band for the evening – the Legends from Endstufe!!! Their 31 years of existence makes then the long running German skinband ever. The area in front of the stage turned into a large pogo battle field and the security has a lot of work to do with some of the ultra aggressive “dancers”  J The crowd sing-a-long every word from the “evergreens” which was played such as: “Glatzenparty”, “Eine Rose für Dich”, “Renee”, “Working Class”, “In Die Eier” and “Küsst meine Boots” just to mention a few. Their set lasted for about 2 hours with a few encores in the final.  It was a second to none performance which was the perfect and end for the perfect night we all had.

There was a small private after party after the gig where we shared our impressions of the gig with skinheads from near and afar. I had the chance to speak for a while with Suck from Les Vilains, who appeared to be a very calm and nice person and also with the guys from Brassic I had a few beers with. The part ended early in the morning and I was very tired, but also very pleased from the whole event.

To sum it up, it was one of the best gigs ( if not the best) I’ve ever visited, with the top of the bands from the skinhead scene both old and new. Gig was attended by 1200 plus people mainly from Germany, but also from USA, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, France, England, Czech Rep. and me from Bulgaria.

I would like to thank first and foremost my lovely German hosts Massimo and Joanna for their great hospitality and the wonderful time we had together. To the organizers from “Honour & Pride” for the perfect organization and hard work of the 30 plus people of the crew, who did they job in the best possible way. Respects and greetings also to Peter Hebel and Oli, without them the event could not be possible.  At last but not the least my final message is: Germany – I WILL BE BACK SOON!!!

W.A.U. Argentina Interview

We send our gentleman regards to the ladies of WAU Argentina. Please provide us with some information about the organization you represent, it’s history and main goals as well as the activities of your branch.

Thank you very much for your interest in our organization! Women for Aryan Unity has been active for almost 22 years now, it has divisions in countries such as Australia, Argentina, Portugal, Finland, United States... Our main goal is to raise awareness among White women and promote the traditions of our folk. Every chapter has autonomy to come up with the activities they consider more suitable; in our specific case, we organize periodic meetings to address topics of interest, we glue flyers in the streets and do other forms of street art :P, we support imprisoner comrades…these are just some of our activities. We are always on the look for new activities and strategies to attract people to the movement and we are always open to cooperate with other serious organizations, either local or foreign.

How did you have involved into the White Nationalists movement, which is (almost) totally dominated by males? I guess most of the readers will suggest you had boyfriends from skinhead circles…is this true?

I was first introduced to the WN/NS movement by a person I met quite by chance back in 1999 (not a boyfriend haha); he lent me some books and music and I got interested in the subject. Almost immediately I joined a patriotic party for about 2 years, then I started hanging out with NS skinheads and, finally, I joined WAU in 2006, after the 6-month probate period all prospects must undergo. We have been working non-stop since then! However, I can assure you that all the girls currently in WAU did not get involved because of boyfriends, we all joined the movement because of our beliefs. Naturally, it’s nice to have a boyfriend or husband who shares our beliefs, but we don’t need to be dating an NS man or skinhead to do our part for the Cause ;)

What is your view on the White woman of today? Do you see her as a housewife, who takes care about home, child rising and cooking or as emancipate “working girl” which has equal rights and obligations with the men?

We support the traditional role of women as the heart of the family, of course we realize that nowadays women also work, but we firmly believe that a woman’s role is fulfilled by having children and raising them in accordance with our values and traditions. Indeed, it is true that emancipation of women poses a threat for our future, since some women seem to be more interested in pursuing a career than in having a family. In our opinion, having a family should be every White woman’s priority.

Apart from the slogan we all know by heart, what the “14 words” means for you in real life?

For us, the 14 words is a way of life, it is a day-to-day task that we take very seriously, not just like a hobby. The 14 words are much more than just a nice slogan for a tattoo, they are something we must have in mind every single day! WAU has an online publication, Homefront, dedicated to the racially conscious home, a must read not only for the ladies, but for men too! ;) This online publication features tips for raising our kids the correct way and other articles of interest! Make sure to check it out at www.wau14.com!

Your opinion about abortion, which is a sensible topic for every White woman?

Abortion of healthy babies is a crime that endangers our future, we strongly oppose abortion and women who abort should be held liable for it. If you don’t want to have your baby, let it be born and give it up for adoption, but don’t murder him! There are always options! However, I personally don’t oppose abortion in special cases, such as when the baby has no chance to survive or will not have a good life quality, or when the mother’s health is at risk. In all other cases, abortion is murder!

Tell us more about the nationalist scene in Argentina. How many active NS organizations you have there? I know about Legione Negra and Blood& Honour, but for sure you can tell me more.

The Argentine nationalist movement is at the moment a bit stuck and paralized. It’s difficult to tell how many active organizations there are…Blood & Honour and its youth section, Legión Negra, split up some years ago. At the moment we lack a good, stable organization to gather NS/WN activists…we are in need of a leader with a good and realistic plan and also people really committed to the Cause, not only supporters, but activists!

Follow-up of the previous question, tell us about the NS/ WP music scene in your country, which is almost unknown in Europe. I know bands such as Nuremberg, Ultrasur and Muerte y Calaveras … and if I’m not wrong all of them are highly influenced by the Spanish RAC bands?

As a result of the general inactivity, the WP music scene is pretty stagnant as well. As far as I know, Muerte & Calaveras and Borcegasso are the only active bands at the moment, I have no idea if Ultrasur and Nuremberg continue playing as we don’t have contact with them. I do know that there are some projects for bands, but so far nothing concrete. I guess we will have to wait a bit longer!
I think that because of the common language, Spanish RAC bands have been a great influence on Argentine ones, but local bands often mention old-school British bands and American bands as influences too.

One of your members plays bass for  a band named Battaglione. Do you have an idea to start a very own WAU band?

Yes, she used to play in Battaglione, but not anymore. Indeed, the idea crossed our minds since most of the WAU Argentina girls are into music, but at the moment it is not a priority. Right now we prefer to focus on more “social” activities like meetings, conferences and so on. But who knows? Maybe in the future it will happen!

What story stands behind the "Malvinas Argentinas" name?

The story is quite simple…as Argentine women, and despite the fact that, for us, race is above nationality, we support our country’s claim to the Malvinas islands. However, we do believe that all the media show our government has set up these last months about this topic is merely to divert the public’s attention from more important matters like corruption, inflation and criminality. We do not trust this leftist administration at all!

Do you face problems with state oppression or left wing violence in Argentina? Do you have POW’s in your country?

As a matter of fact, the reds and antifas in Argentina are not so active and aggressive as in Europe. Ok, of course, there are clashes between WN and reds from time to time, but as it also happens in other parts of the world, most are “cyber” clashes...I guess it’s because the WN/NS movement here is not so strong as in European countries…No, we don’t have Argentine POWs, but that does not mean that they are not after us! Last year an NS group was investigated and its members prosecuted…indeed, there is persecution against NS in Argentina.

Blitz Questions…what you think about:

-         Prostitution: the best way to spread STDs. I guess it is a supply-demand thing…so White men and women, find yourselves a partner and stick to him/her!
-         Drugs: Drugs are not for us! We need strong, healthy individuals and not weak-minded,  low-life junkies with no self respect.
-         Feminism and Lesbians: We despise feminists! We believe that women should work together with men side by side, complement one another and not engage in some pointless “gender” war. And Lesbianism is a deviation from the laws of Nature, and as such, we do not accept it.
-         Race mixing: Race mixing is genocide of our people! Every race has the right to fight for their preservation, heritage and future and this is what we stand for.
-         Saga and other female singers: It is good to see women in the WN music movement. There are some girls with good voices out there! I personally like Vinterdis and Annett J
-         Football and Argentina finest – Lionel Messi: I like football! We used to have a strong national team…not anymore! Messi is a good player and seems to be a decent person, I’m just sorry that he hasn’t shown his potential when playing for the Argentine national team!

At last but not the least, a typical female question…can you give us a recipe for your favorite domestic meal :) If its too complicated just tell us a bit for the local kitchen…is it to chilly?

You will be shocked to know that I’m a terrible cook! But I’m trying to learn really hard! No, it is not so chilly as people may think. If you ever come to Argentina, you should definitely try Argentine-style asado (barbacue), I can promise you won’t be disappointed. They say Argentine culinary tradition is very interesting ;)

Thanks a million for your answer ladies! Your final words…any message to our readers?

Thank you very much for the interview! I would like to encourage all proud White women to get involved! Support WN/NS organizations, go to rallies, gigs, conferences...the future depends on you! 14 words!

R.A.C. Encyclopedia - part 8

Combat 84

Combat 84 were an English Oi! band active during the early 1980s. Formed in 1981 in Chelsea, London by skinheads 'Chubby' Chris Henderson and 'Deptford' John Armitage, Combat 84 rose to national prominence after being featured in a controversial 1982 BBC Arena documentary about the skinhead movement.

The band was originally composed of Chris Henderson (vocals), 'Deptford' John Armitage (bass guitar), Jim (guitar) and Brownie (drums) and played their first gig supporting The Last Resort at the Walmer Castle, Peckham. The Last Resort's lead singer, Roi Pearce (later of The 4-Skins) liked the band and agreed to produce a two-song demo tape with them. These sessions resulted in the songs "Soldier" and "Combat 84", which were favourably received in the music press, leading to the band being described as 'the new Sham 69'.

In 1982, the manager of The 4-Skins, Gary Hitchcock attempted to get the band signed to Secret Records, then home to The 4-Skins, The Business, Infa Riot and The Exploited, although the deal fell through at the last minute, prompting Combat 84 to sign to Victory Records for the release of their Orders of the Day EP.[2] Former Business drummer John Fisher replaced Brownie for the recording of the second (1983) EP, Rapist.

More right-leaning, lyrically than many of their punk rock and Oi! peers, Combat 84 received much criticism for recording a song that advocated capital punishment for rapists ("Rapist"), and a song that supported nuclear weapons and criticized the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) and reds ("Right to Choose"). Guitarist Jim stated in a 2000 interview that the latter song was intended in a tongue-in-cheek manner, and as a homage to Vietnam War movies. Other lyrical themes included unemployment, inner-city violence, war, and slavish followers of fashion.

Controversy erupted around the band after they were featured in a 1982 BBC Arena documentary, during which Henderson made racist comments. His views were not shared by the other band members; in the same documentary, 'Deptford' John commented on the similarity in living situation between black and white working-class youths in early 1980s Britain
Footage of crowd violence at a gig was also broadcast in the documentary. This led to the breakup of the band, as their newly-earned bad reputation discouraged venues from booking the band. Gigs were then often played under the pseudonym The 7th Cavalry to avoid the stigma of the Combat 84 name.

Victory Records, wanting little to do with the band at this point, compiled an album of studio recordings (intended for the band's debut album) and bootleg-quality live tracks and licensed it to German label Rock-O-Rama Records for release as Send in the Marines in 1984. The record was disowned by the band, which split up soon after.

In the intervening years, Combat 84 were frequently labelled as a neo-Nazi, white power or Rock Against Communism (RAC) band,[3] a charge which has been denied by 'Deptford' John and Jim, noting that the band's songs contained no racist lyrics, nor were they ever aligned with any far-right political party, although 'Deptford' John noted in a 2001 interview with the "Pissed and Proud" fanzine that he believes in free speech and whilst not supporting it, that RAC music should be allowed a platform - as "people should be allowed to say what they want".

'Deptford' John and Jim went on to roadie for and play with the U.K. Subs and The Exploited, and John Fisher played with former members of The Last Resort in The Warriors. After retiring from the music business, Chris Henderson became more involved with football hooliganism, and eventually led the Chelsea Headhunters in the mid-to-late 1980s, writing the book Who Wants it? about his experiences with Colin Ward. He now owns a bar in Thailand. In 2000, the band reformed without Henderson for the release of the Tooled Up EP, released on their own 7th Cavalry record label. 'Deptford' John took over vocal duties, with Jim on guitar, and 'F.T.' and 'Suds' on bass and drums respectively.

Bulldog Breed

EARLY DAYS:

AS MOST OF YOU ALREADY KNOW, 'BULLDOG BREED' WAS A CO-OPERATION BETWEEN TWO BANDS, 'ENGLISH ROSE' & 'SQUADRON'. THE LINE UP AT THE BEGINNING WAS AS FOLLOWS:

'BRAD - BASS' (SQUADRON).
'JIM - GUITAR' (SQUADRON).
'STEVE - VOCALS' (ENGLISH ROSE).
'DAVID - DRUMS' (ENGLISH ROSE).

IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE ANY MORE THAN A RECORDING PROJECT, AN ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE THAT OLD SCHOOL OI! SOUND AND ATTITUDE WHILE STEERING CLEAR OF POLITICS. OBVIOUSLY OUR STREET POLITICS FOUND A WAY IN, IT WAS LIFE AS WE SAW IT BACK THEN, BUT WE THINK WE MANAGED TO CAPTURE THAT OLD SCHOOL SOUND AND ATTITUDE AS PLANNED.
BACK IN EARLY '93, 'SQUADRON' WERE TREADING A PATH TO HEAVIER AND HEAVIER MUSIC AND LOSING THAT ORIGINAL SKINHEAD SOUND THAT THEY ONCE HAD. 'ENGLISH ROSE' WERE FACED WITH GUITARIST PROBLEMS IN THEM DAYS AND NOT FUNCTIONING AS A FULL BAND, JUST OCCASIONAL RECORDING SESSIONS. ANYWAY, BOTH BANDS HAD STARTED BECOMING GOOD FRIENDS WHILE PLAYING ALONGSIDE EACH OTHER ON A REGULAR BASIS. THAT FRIENDSHIP GREW WHEN BOTH BANDS WERE ARRESTED IN GERMANY WHILE TRAVELING TO PLAY A GIG, AND SPENT SOME TIME TOGETHER IN THE CELLS. OH SUCH FUN TIMES!
THE BOYS GOT TALKING ABOUT MUSIC AND HOW WE LOVE THE SIMPLICITY OF FOOTBALL TERRACE / ANTHEM SKINHEAD SONGS SUCH AS ''OI! OI! OI!', 'CHAOS', 'RAZORS IN THE NIGHT', 'ENGLAND BELONGS TO ME', 'VIOLENCE', 'SOMEONE'S GONNA DIE', 'HURRY UP HARRY', 'SUBURBAN REBELS', 'TAKE EM ALL' AND THOUSANDS OF OTHER CLASSIC OI! SONGS. AFTER A HANDFUL OF BEERS 'BULLDOG BREED' WAS BORN, AN ECCENTRICALLY BRITISH NAME WITH THAT OBVIOUS SKINHEAD CONNECTION AND PATRIOTIC PASSION. SADLY THOUGH 'STEVE WAS WAITING FOR A COURT DATE FOLLOWING A PREVIOUS RUN IN WITH THE LAW AND RECEIVED ON 18 MONTH SENTENCE, THIS WAS A SLIGHT SET BACK BUT ALSO A CHANCE FOR US TO WRITE THE MUSIC AND LYRICS FOR OUR 1ST ALBUM.

MADE IN ENGLAND:

THE BOYS WERE RE-UNITED IN EARLY '95 AND GOT TOGETHER IN THE LIVING ROOM OF STEVE'S HOUSE, TO THE ANNOYANCE OF THE NEIGHBOURS NO DOUBT, TO REHEARSE THE SONGS THAT WERE PENNED OVER THE LAST YEAR OR SO. THE 1st ALBUM WAS READY AND WAS RECORDED IN APRIL '95, MIXED ON APRIL 23rd (ST GEORGES DAY), AND WITH THAT PATRIOTIC FEELING RUNNING AT A HIGH WE DECIDED TO CALL IT 'MADE IN ENGLAND'. THE COVER WAS SIMPLE A PICTURE WE TOOK FROM A POPULAR SKINHEAD BOOK, AND SO STARTED THE MUSICAL JOURNEY OF 'BULLDOG BREED'. WE DIDN'T WANT ANYTHING TECHNICAL OR OVER PRODUCED, WE WANTED RAW AND STRAIGHT FORWARD OI!. WE RECORDED AND MIXED THE ALBUM IN 3 DAYS AND DECIDED TO RELEASES IT ON OUR OWN LABEL, WHICH WE NAMED 'RAMPAGE PRODUCTIONS'. THE ALBUM GAINED A LOT OF PRAISE AND SUPPORT FROM A WIDE RANGE OF PEOPLE, BUT IT ALSO HAD A FEW IGNORANT CRITICS. WE THANKED A LARGE NUMBER OF BANDS ON THE ALBUM, INCLUDING 'RED ALERT', 'THE PARTISANS' AND 'THE OPPRESSED' AMONG OTHERS, BECAUSE THEY HAD INFLUENCED US MUSICALLY AND WE HAD LISTENED TO THEM THROUGH LIFE. THEIR MUSIC HAD INFLUENCED US, NOT THIER PSEUDO ANARCHISTIC, LIBERAL, WISHY-WASHY POLITICAL VIEWS. ENOUGH SAID!

UNLEASHED AGAIN:

IN MID '96 THE WRITING OF THE 2nd ALBUM BEGAN, AND WE DECIDED TO CALL IT 'UNLEASHED AGAIN'. THE STUDIO WAS BOOKED FOR NOVEMBER AND WE HAD MOST OF THE ALBUM PENNED, BUT WE ACTUALLY WROTE 'DRUNK & DISORDERLY' WHILE TRAVELLING TO AND FROM THE STUDIO IN THE BACK OF A VAN, AND WE WROTE 'IN YOUR EYES' IN THE STUDIO ITSELF. WE COMPLETED THE RECORDING AND MIXED IT ON NOVEMBER 9th. THE COVER CAME FROM OVER THE WATER THIS TIME, FROM NONE OTHER THAN 'GRIFFIN' OF 'ARYAN' / 'STONEHAMMER' FAME. 'BRAD' & 'JIM' HAD STAYED WITH HIM WHILE TOURING CANADA AND AMERICA, AND SEEING AS HE WAS A TOP NOTCH ARTIST AND OWNER OF BULLDOGS, IT SEEMED LOGICAL TO ASK FOR HIS ASSISTANCE WITH THE COVER. WE RELEASED THE ALBUM ON 'RAMPAGE PRODUCTIONS' AGAIN, AND THE REACTION WAS MORE THAN WHAT WE COULD EVER HAVE DREAMED OF.

EARLY 1997 - 1999:

WE ENTERED THE STUDIO AGAIN IN '97 TO RECORD FOR THE 'VOICE OF BRITAIN' COMPILATION CD ON 'RAMPAGE PRODUCTIONS', RESULTING IN THE 2 SONGS, 'THE UNION JACK' AND 'BROTHERHOOD'. SADLY THIS WAS THE LAST INPUT FROM 'JIM' AS HE DECIDED TO QUIT THE BAND AND MOVE ONTO OTHER MUSICAL ADVENTURES. 'BULLDOG BREED' WERE MOMENTARILY DOWN, BUT NOT OUT OF THE FIGHT FOR GOOD. IN '99 WE WERE ASKED TO PLAY IN AMERICA AT THE 'HAMMERFEST', AND IN STEPPED 'TICH' WHO WAS AT THAT TIME PLAYING ALONGSIDE 'BRAD IN THE BAND 'EYE OF ODIN'. WHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A GREAT FESTIVAL, PLAYING WITH BANDS LIKE 'BULLY BOYS', 'MIDTOWN BOOTBOYS', 'WHITE WASH' AND 'INTIMIDATION ONE'. GODDAMN!

THE GREAT BRITISH EXPORT:

WITH 'TICH' ON BOARD, WE ENTERED THE STUDIO TO LAY DOWN A FEW TRACKS FOR A 7" SINGLE FOR 'DIM RECORDS' IN GERMANY. THE A-SIDE FEATURED 'THE GREAT BRITISH EXPORT', A SONG ABOUT THE SKINHEAD WAY OF LIFE. FOR THE B-SIDE WE COVERED 'PERVERT' (PUBLIC ENEMY), AS CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE, AND 'TAKE EM ALL' (COCK SPARRER) WITH OUR SLIGHT TWIST ON THE LYRICS.

PANZERFAUST RECORDS:

ALSO IN 2000, WE ENTERED THE STUDIO AGAIN. 'PANZERFAUST RECORDS' ASKED US TO RECORD A SPLIT CD WITH 'INTIMIDATION ONE', SO WE RECORDED OUR 6 SONGS, BUT SOMEWHERE IN THE PRODUCTION OF THE RELEASE OUR SOUND WAS LOST, BUT OUR MESSAGE STILL GOT OUT THERE. BUT ONCE AGAIN THE BAND CAME TO A HAULT AS WE ALL HAD TOO MUCH GOING ON IN OUR LIVES, FAMILY, JOBS, CHILDREN AND OTHER BANDS. 'BRAD' & 'TICH' WERE BUSY WITH 'EYE OF ODIN', 'STEVE' WAS OFF TOURING WITH 'ENGLISH ROSE', WITH THE BACKING OF 'VERSZERZODES' AND 'DAVID' WAS NOW DRUMMING WITH 'BRUTAL ATTACK'. BUSY! BUSY! BUSY!

TODAY:

THE 40th BIRTHDAY OF 'STEVE' SAW THE BAND GET TOGETHER AGAIN FOR A BIT OF A JAM. WE STARTED TALKING AGAIN ABOUT THE SONGS WE HAD ON DEMO FROM ALL THOSE YEARS BACK, STUFF THAT WAS MEANT TO BE THE 3rd AND FINAL ALBUM. THAT NIGHT RESULTED IN THE BAND GETTING TOGETHER FOR A FEW MORE GIGS AND A COUPLE OF DAYS IN THE RECORDING STUDIO. WE RECORDED 10 NEW SONGS, 8 OF THEM ARE THE UN-HEARD TRACKS FROM THE DEMO, AND WE ALSO RE-RECORDED 'UNLEASHED AGAIN' WITH NEW LYRICS, AND 'H.F.F.H' WITH UPDATED LYRICS. THESE SONGS ARE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THIS 'COMPLETE COLLECTION, AND MAYBE FOR A VINYL RELEASE FOR YOU VINYL JUNKIES.
SO, WE ARE OLDER AND WISER NOW, BUT THE MUSIC IS STILL AS TRUE AS EVER..... 'BULLDOG BREED' NEVER LOST THAT OI! SPIRIT, AND NEVER LOST THE PASSION FOR THE MUSIC OR THE WAY OF LIFE. WE HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO PLAY AMERICA, ITALY, SPAIN, BELGIUM, FRANCE, GERMANY, FINLAND, ULSTER, HUNGARY, SCOTLAND AND ENGLAND OF COURSE. WE HAVE MET MANY FRIENDS OVER THE YEARS, AND A LOT OF THOSE FRIENDSHIPS STILL CONTINUE TODAY, AND WE HOPE FOR MANY MORE YEARS TO COME.

Hammerskin Nation History

The skinhead presence in Dallas was first chronicled in 1979 and like other cities in the USA it was an offshoot of the punk scene. Numbers were quite small in the early 80`s but by 1984 enough seeds had been planted and the USA was ready for a skinhead explosion. Between 1984 and 1987 the skinhead scene in Dallas reached a peak for violence but lacked political direction, with a few exceptions the skinheads in the area had always been geared towards White Power.

Fortunately, there was never a ska, scooter, or mod fashion in the 80`s however Dallas did have a small population of anti-racist skins and punks known as DSB (dumb skater boys). The anti-racist scene was weak but the White Power scene was coming into its own. Most of the skinheads in the area had grown up as such, educated themselves without the help of a central leader and soon realized they could create a force to be reckoned with if they formed a dynamic, focused and productive group.

As 1987 drew to a close a few skinheads got together and decided to try to make the dream a reality, they had the group but needed a name.  Many ideas were tossed around but ultimately The Confederate Hammerskins was their final choice. They were from the south and they used the Rebel Flag with the marching hammers in front as a symbol of strength, pride, and solidarity. With this, the first Hammerskin chapter was born. CHS emerged officially in January 1988 and intended to set the standard for skinheads in the US.  At that time drug use among skinheads was popular and in many crews exceptions were made for the odd racially confused Mexican or Jew, the Hammerskins wanted to show like minded people that there was a better way a way which would promote the 14 words and end hypocrisy.

In early 1988 Hammerskins were receiving heavy exposure thanks to constant traveling. Hammers would attend marches in Pulaski, Tennessee, the infamous Sedition Trials in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and trips to other cities in the south that led to contacts with many other skinheads. The Hammers had also made strong ties in the past with northern crews such as C.A.S.H (Chicago Area Skin Heads), D.A.S.H (Detroit Area Skin Heads), WAR skins and others.  These far away groups would not be forgotten as they would play a large role in the expansion of what would come to be called “The Hammerskin Nation”.

CHS could feel momentum building and began looking up old and new friends to spread the good word about the newly formed Hammerskins.  The cry went out, “Let’s pool our strengths and make a real impact”!  The band wagon shifted into high gear and people were jumping on right, left, and center, CHS in Dallas were making national headlines and had numerous unaffiliated crews expressing their interest in joining the ranks as well. These were impressive gains for a group in such early stages especially from a city like Dallas. Several years earlier outsiders would routinely receive beatings from Dallas skins and now they were embracing people from all over the country.

By the summer of 1988 skinheads in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma as well as Waco, Texas; and Memphis, Tennessee became part of the CHS crew. After this one of the founders of CHS moved north to Detroit, his job offer seemed to be a good opportunity to strengthen ties with some of the northern cities. Strong crews like C.A.S.H, D.A.S.H, S.H.A.M, and W.A.S.H were already in existence and these names may still be quite memorable to some.

As CHS flourished in the south the NHS was the next region to be founded, Detroit would be the first city to represent “The Northern Hammerskins”. Around the same time of the first Aryan Fest gathering in Oklahoma the skinheads of the north were having their own festival.  Skinfest in Milwaukee, Wisconson was a large event and skinheads from many other northern crews were represented, soon after this concert the Skinhead Army of Milwaukee joined with The NHS.  With the continued addition of positive individuals the NHS seemed to grow exponentially. A long time friend of the Hammers moved to Chicago and the outcome was the NHS adding another city to their roster, close on Chicago’s heels was Ohio. The summer of 1988 was big for the development of Hammerskins and probably one of the most violent years for the skinhead scene in US history. As the Chaos 88 song appropriately states: “88, it was the summer of hate”!

The Aryan Fest gatherings, which were not organized by Hammers, continued to be a cornerstone for bringing together skinheads eager to help and join in. After Aryan Fest `88 the Springfield, Missouri chapter was and not to long after that Hammers got back in touch with and old friend from Oklahoma who had since moved to Portland, Oregon furthering contacts in the West. A year earlier, in 1987, a founding member of CHS appeared on the Oprah Winfrey talk show and made contacts with a group of WAR skins on set. These skins went on to form a chapter in Northern California during the latter months of 1988. The first big event of ’89 would be “Aryan Wood Stock”, later dubbed “Aryan Wood Flop” as the event tanked due to police pressure and inclement weather. Despite the lame event CHS and NHS members made some fruitful contacts in Southern California.   The Hammerskin presence across the nation was becoming a formidable one and on the east coast another contact was made in August of `88 taking the Hammerskin name as far as Portland, Maine. The flurry of growth and activity within the United States seemed like fate, the Hammerskin name was known coast to coast and the reality of a true Hammerskin Nation was now in view.

Back in Dallas things weren’t looking as good as they were for the rest of the nation. A founding member of CHS was jailed for aggravated assault and a Federal Grand Jury was convened to investigate the actions of skinheads in the Dallas area over the past several years. Leading the pack of investigators was federal prosecutor Barry Kowalski who incidentally was involved with the prosecution of Bruce Pierce of “The Order”.  The case gained national attention and a press conference was held with the U.S attorney general Dick Thornburgh and president George Bush to announce the witch hunt.  It was stated that a founding member of CHS, who was serving time on an unrelated offense, would be the target of the investigation and center of the inevitable show trial to follow.  This wouldn’t be the end of political persecution for members of the HSN, at the same time in Milwaukee one of the founding members of CHS and a founding member of NHS had received convictions for shooting at a group of Latin Kings (Mexican gang bangers) who had come to do a drive-by on their homes for being skinheads.  Just over a year in existence and The Hammerskins were already falling into the clutches of the anti-white justice system.

Despite the negative events which were occurring there were definitely positive things happening as well.  Aryan Fest 1989 was fast approaching and would be one of the great U.S skinhead concerts in history and another chance for the HSN to forge bonds with skinheads nation-wide. The Hammerskins started claiming some very well known bands as their own in these early stages such as The Midtown Boot Boys, Haken Kreuz, One Way, and the Bully Boys. At some point after Aryan Fest `89 the members of a band called Bound For Glory joined on and St. Paul, Minnesota became part of the momentum driving Hammerskins across the USA. BFG, as they would come to be known, would go down as one of the most accomplished skinhead bands in history. Concerning growth at the time it was thanks to strong leadership of a few individuals that momentum in the south had picked up and skinheads from all over Tennessee, Alabama, and Georgia were coming into the brotherhood.

As the HSN’s numbers exploded the inevitable growing pains that follow were beginning to be felt as rumors, gossip, back stabbing, and in fighting became all too common and it seemed as if no Hammer was immune.  The heavy exposure and publicity which had facilitated the growth of the HSN was now the cause of derision and unrest. The friendship with Tom Metzger and exposure in WAR magazine, Aryan Fest videos, exposure in scene zines such as Blood and Honor, Pure Impact, Final War, and numerous lesser known operations had all contributed and still were contributing to the Hammerskin frenzy. On the flip side of the coin the anti-white media machine was all over Hammerskins as well and calls from TV shows such as 60 Minutes and 20/20 amongst others were badgering members for interviews. The exposure was a double edged sword aiding in growth but also producing a target for law enforcement agencies that would do the dirty work in an attempt to bring down the Hammers.  This publicity either scared people away or brought them in and hindsight would reveal that publicity of this kind does more to destroy than to uplift and the Hammers would have to learn this lesson the hard way.

Into the fall of 1989 the system continued their campaign against the Hammers in Dallas. Indictments were handed down whichculminated in the convictions of 5 of CHS members in Dallas. The charges were “conspiracy to violate the civil rights of blacks and jews” along with a firearms charge, sentences ranged from four and a half years to nine and a half years. Of the five convicted the harshest sentence was given to the one that would later be discovered as the FBI informant who gave evidence to the prosecutors. All men who had been sent to prison, except for the FBI informer, are currently free and still racialists to this day.  The show trials in Dallas hadn’t quenched the FBI’s “thirst for blood” and they pursued events in the effort to hand down more convictions on similar charges.  In Tulsa, Oklahoma two members of the band Midtown Boot Boys would become casualties in the growing witch hunt as well as 2 others one of which had been previously convicted in Dallas.

While Hammerskins were sitting in jail on bogus, trumped up and politically motivated charges other members were being slain by enemies of the White Race and their killers going free. Brian Kozel, Eric Banks and Joe Rowan are just the first few entries of an ever growing roster of martyrs. Hammerskins have suffered the loss of brothers and sisters in all forms, from cancer to suicide to outright murder. However, even faced with adversity and hardship we still press on, our goal is larger and more important than our own lives and our actions will live on long after we are gone.

No previous skinhead group had grown at such a rapid pace and as such there was no “big brother” to emulate but growth would continue regardless of the uncharted nature of the territory.  In the early 90’s several skinheads started chapters in New Jersey, by this time the chapter in Portland, Maine was dissolved and so the two NJ chapters became the first to come under “The Eastern Hammerskins”. Out west during this same time a group of skinheads in Phoenix, Arizona set themselves up as AHS or the “Arizona Hammer Skins” and it wasn’t long after that Southern California came under the HS banner as well. As a result of the growth in the west a new region was established under the title “The Western Hammerskins” and at the forefront of these chapters were two skinheads who had been involved in racially motivated attacks by non-white gangs.  Both had been shot in the back and one had been paralyzed as the result of a severed spinal cord.

In early 1990 the next Hammerskin chapter came into being, The Rocky Mountain Hammerskins were formed adding another region of the nation flying the Crossed Hammers.  Future Hammerskin martyr Joe Rowan became involved with EHS in the middle of 1990 bringing the Newtown, Pennsylvania chapter into existence along with Tim Brie of Baltimore, Maryland. EHS was becoming a cohesive unit and the WHS was taking shape as well. Not long after Aryan Fest `90 the acting director of NHS moved to Texas and Ed of BFG fame took the point as the director for the Northern Hammerskins. Tragedy struck in September of that year with the murder of Milwaukee Hammer Brian Kozel by a gang of Mexicans.  In two short but productive years the Hammerskins had become a national organization and had a presence in or around almost every major city in the country.  With this tsunami of popularity and growth in the United States skinheads from other countries began to take notice and it wouldn’t be long before the Crossed Hammers would fly across the globe.

The early '90s would see the inception of Hammerskins in Europe under the watchful eye of Ed from BFG who was the acting director of NHS at the time.  The first two European chapters were to be started in Northern Ireland and Switzerland in 1990 turning the Hammerskins into an International skinhead phenomena.  Once the first spark hit the European continent, explosive growth occurred almost as fast as it did in the US and not too long after the first two chapters came Germany, France, The Czech Republic, England, Italy, Spain, and The Netherlands.  In 1993 another continent would be conquered by the Hammers, Australia was brought into the fold and Scott from fortress would stay on for the ride.  Northern brothers in Canada would not be left behind either and skinheads from Montreal were brought in under the NHS banner, soon other Canadian cities were brought in as well and would become what is known today as VHS or The Vinland Hammerskins.  Back in the good old US of A the growth rate of Hammerskins was slowing down substantially although many good shows were being promoted by Hammerskins and Hammer attendance at rallies was impressive.  Tragedy ushered in 1993 with the murder of Erik Banks the singer of BFG by SHARP scum in Portland and a black cloud would shroud the New Year.

The loss of so many solid brothers to prison and violence was starting a shift within the psyches of the Hammerskins and as members began to grow older and mature so did their goals.  Numbers would cease to be as important as it had once been, quality not quantity was sought and the early ‘90s would mark a change in way Hammerskins viewed their organization.  The rapid pace of adding new chapters and regions would slow down but there was still a lot of interest from many different areas.  The next edition to the ever growing family was a crew from Jacksonville, Florida who were welcomed in, in `93. Prior to that, aside from a couple lone skinheads in Tallahassee, there were no Hammerskin chapters in Florida however the leader of the American Front operated a renegade chapter in Florida for a time but it was never legitimate.  Renegade or “outlaw” chapters would become a thorn in the side of the true Hammerskins for some time to come.  From the mid-west USA to Russia and Serbia there are people who cannot accept dismissal or no for an answer, one thing is for sure Hammerskins are often imitated but never duplicated.

The next event of major importance was the creation and formation of “The Hammerskin Nation“ in the summer of 1994. The concept was to do away with the regional titles of CHS, NHS, EHS, and WHS along with the varied patches and unite under one common Hammerskin banner. In creating themselves, Hammerskins had divided themselves and it was time to tear down the walls of division. If Hammerskins were to represent one name together then it was time to become one and represent each other as one nation the Hammerskin Nation!

The fall of ’94 would send another one of our Hammerskin brothers to Valhalla and add another entry into the obituary page of the HSN reading of a strong, young, white man who left us all too early. Inside a convenience store after a memorial concert in Racine, Wisconsin a black savage murdered EHS member and singer of the band Nordic Thunder, Joe Rowan.  The tragedy of Joe’s death is not only in the senselessness of the crime and the injustice of the criminal savage who got away with murder but also in the fact that it happened at a gathering in remembrance Ian Stuart a fallen hero who made an impact on all of us involved in the struggle for the security of our race.  The night was supposed to be an upbeat but somber memorial to one man and ended up as a night of sorrow and pain in the loss of another. The HSN will always be marred by the slaying of our brothers and we will never forget their ultimate sacrifice or take for granted our brothers of today for they may not be here tomorrow.

The mid to late 90`s were a time of repairing what the Hammerskins had and cutting losses.  By this time the Hammerskins had become more technologically advanced and self-sufficient and were able to promote many successful shows in the States, and put out many good publications as well as operating web sites and running record labels. Many brothers made a living at their own “non-movement” related businesses from heating and cooling to tattoo shops. Some of the Hammerskins in Europe had jobs ranging from businesses in skinhead apparel clothing stores to positions in corporate offices and the Hammerskin Nation was now fully operating in quality over quantity mode.

1998 brought two new chapters into the still growing HSN one close to home and one stretching across the ocean. Wichita, Kansas and New Zealand both became official chapters in this year, a year which would not be without tragedy. The loss of a popular member of the Ulster N. Ireland chapter from injuries sustained in a fight was the casualty for this year.  It would be a year of trimming the fat, cutting loose those who were involved for the wrong reasons and threatened the integrity of the focus which had been so hard to attain. With the dismissal of members came those who would quit alongside their friends and Florida chapters were very hard hit by this upheaval.  As a side effect of the efforts to weed the garden a renegade crew calling themselves “The Outlaw Hammerskins” arose in the Midwest.  It was unfortunate that certain individuals weren’t able to uphold the standards that Hammerskins expected from their members but organizations such as the HSN often attracted those with intentions that weren’t aligned with the greater goals and future aims of the organization.  It was the realization that “they were only as strong as their weakest link” which forced the dismissal of certain members and in an oppressive anti-white system which was constantly looking to destroy them vigilance to set standards was key. Furthermore, the reality was that those who were dismissed truly had no understanding of what they were involved with in the first place.

The past year had flown by and ’99 had arrived with anticipation of the new millennium and bigger and better things for the Hammerskins. Preparation for a US national conference meeting followed by a large scale public concert billed as Hammerfest, was in the works. This meeting and concert to follow generated tremendous buzz and the previous year fraught with turmoil and strife had served to be a catalyst for the reversal of a negative trend.  The meeting in ’99 reinstated the regional system of the original Hammerskins, after a time on hiatus it was realized that coexistence was possible as one nation while still having local organization in separate locales. Regional boundaries were redrawn to make way for a new region called MHS or “The Midland Hammerskins”.  Hammerfest went off with a bang and the new line up for the HSN’s own Bully Boys was the highlight of the night.  Along with the Bully Boys representing the Hammerskins were Max Resist out of Detroit, Dying Breed, and the Midtown Bootboys among others.  Again, the year would not go without tragedy and loss as two members one of NHS and one of MHS succumbed to cancer and left behind wives and children.

The year 2000, unlike the previous ten years, was relatively smooth and the HSN had weathered the storm and overcome their growing pains.  With the success of the first Hammerfest a year earlier preparation began for Hammerfest 2000 which would prove to be even more successful than the first. With the likes of Brutal Attack, The Bully Boys, Bound for Glory, Celtic Warrior, and scores more, it proved to be a historic occasion with the highest concert attendance in the history of white power shows in the United States.  2001 and early 2002 sailed by as well with many positive concerts, rallies and get-togethers across America. The most memorable event from that time period was the rally at the White House to protest US support of Israel.  This event brought together hundreds and hundreds of White Racialists from all over the country and an EHS sponsored gig to capped off the event. Unbeknownst to many who actually made it to the protest a bus carrying the the band Max Resist from Detroit along with others from Michigan was attacked by SHARP and resulted in the arrest of many of the anti-racist scum.  What would have been considered a hate crime had, roles been reversed, became nothing more than “horseplay” and the SHARP scum were never charged with crimes.

In the early 2002 at another rally in Pennsylvania a horde of SHARP scum attacked a member of EHS who was leaving the event in his truck. Not only did the crowd of cowards provoke this altercation they escaped any wrong doing in the eyes of the law because of the fact that the EHS member had driven out of the crazed mob and in the act clipped a few Anti-Racist cowards with his automobile. For saving himself from imminent danger and the obvious reality of great bodily harm he was rewarded with two years in prison by our blatantly anti-white justice system. Along with this incarceration came another loss when a member of England’s BHS passed away. On a more positive note 2002 saw the first European Hammerfest with 1,500 people in attendance despite torrential rain.

This has been an account of the “childhood” of the HSN.  We are still growing, we are still active, and we are still fighting for a whiter and brighter future for white people no matter where they may live. The HSN will gain new faces and loose old ones but we will forever remain in a form which promotes brotherhood and the realization that we can achieve more of our goals together than we can apart.  We will continue to hold skinheads to a higher standard for the rest of our existence as the world’s oldest leading skinhead organization

Book about the Spanish Blue Division

Blue Division Soldier 1941-45
Spanish Volunteers on the Eastern Front

Written by C. Caballero Jurado

Illustrated by Ramiro Bujeiro

Osprey Publishing 2009, 64 pages

ISBN: 978-1-84603-412-1

I find the Osprey Warrior series one of the most enjoyable. They are packed full of detail on the soldiers themselves, rather than the more usual details of an army or unit. The Blue Division Soldier 1941-45 is no different. This great little book covers the Spanish volunteers of the Blue Division (so named because of the blue shirts of the Falangist Party Militia worn by many of its men). This division was formed from volunteers in Spain before being sent to Germany for accelerated training and then on to German Army Group North on the Eastern Front.

The book is split in to a number of sections. It starts with an introduction and Chronology covering the background behind the raising of the division and its actions on the Eastern Front. The Chronology is a good starting point to learn the basics of the division’s role in Army Group North, with where and when they fought.

Next it moves on to explain the recruitment and organisation of the original volunteers in Spain before covering their training in Germany. The Spanish were very keen to get into combat as soon as possible; as they were concerned the Germans would defeat the Soviet Union before the division saw any combat. Because of this haste they only received a month of training before being sent to the front.

It then goes in to some detail on the composition of the men, their generals and officers, NCOs and the backgrounds and motivations of the men for joining. It looks at the number Spanish Civil War veterans from the Falangist (fascist) militia and Spanish Foreign Legion who joined the division and their importance in the unit’s performance and how anti-communist feeling influenced many of the recruits.

It then looks at the life and combat conditions the soldiers serving on the Eastern Front faced, their motivation and morale. It looks at the Spanish soldiers relations with the Germans, the Russian peasants, prisoners and deserters. Finally it looks at the aftermath of the division’s service, its veterans, writings and historical legacy.
